Quick History • The Turn of an Era: The 13th Macau Grand Prix (1966) marked the exact moment the race transformed from a local amateur hobby event into a professional international street circuit. • The Pinoy Connection: This 1966 race is legendary in local motorsport history—Filipino racing pioneer Roberto "Baby" Luna won first place in the support race driving a Lotus Elan. • The Origin: It was manufactured across the bay at the "Perfect" souvenir shop on Nathan Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong, and sold directly to trackside spectators.
