An increasingly difficult-to-find early 2nd Pattern M-65 Field Jacket, issued in 1967 in a sought after Small-Short size. The 2nd Pattern represents a short transitional stage in the development of the M-65. Unlike the simpler 1st Pattern, it introduced shoulder epaulettes while retaining the early gusseted V-shaped cuffs. Its original aluminum Conmar zipper is another desirable detail associated with early-production M-65 jackets. (Refer to photos for the most accurate representation.)
