It features a charcoal grey minimalist design with a concealed front snap and zip closure, horizontal panel seams on the sleeves, and classic welt hand pockets. GORE-TEX is a premium technical fabric technology engineered specifically to tackle harsh weather without making you feel stuffy. Its core uses include: • 100% Waterproofing: The internal membrane contains billions of microscopic pores that are 20,000 times smaller than a single water droplet, keeping heavy rain and sleet from soaking through the jacket. • Windproofing: It completely blocks harsh, freezing winds from penetrating the shell, helping you maintain your core body temperature in cold conditions. • High Breathability: While it keeps water out, the membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This allows your sweat and body heat to escape from the inside, preventing that damp, clammy feeling common with cheap vinyl raincoats.
