Aureole White & Blue Quartz This Aureole Quartz time-teller serves up a phenomenal, crisp field watch layout that beautifully handles a bright, high-contrast palette. It leans heavily into a clean, vintage military-instrument look, making it a highly scannable and photogenic piece for secondary market feeds. The true focal point of the face is the gorgeous set of lance-style hour and minute hands finished in a rich, metallic cobalt blue. They are paired with a matching needle-thin blue seconds hand, adding a beautiful pop of cold color to the stark white backdrop. Aureole (originally stylized as Auréole) began as a historic Swiss watchmaking company founded by Philidor Wolf in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The brand was highly innovative, becoming one of the earliest Swiss houses to mass-produce calendar wristwatches in 1932 and cutting-edge waterproof stainless steel watches in 1933. Like many historic Swiss houses, Aureole underwent massive restructuring during the late 20th century.
