Balenciaga’s “Le Dix” collection, the designer has replaced the distressed leather of the Classic and Giant bags with a smooth, thick leather. The rigid and square shapes of the Le Dix line are hot this season, especially with a simple gold clasp almost in the Hermès style. The handle and mirrors are something to be marveled at! Such a simple and elegant style can be worn by anyone – even if they have a little Balenciaga rebel left in them!The “giant” bags are named for their large metal studs and include styles like the City, the First, the Weekender, and the Day bag. Le dix bags are named after the first flagship boutique on 10 Avenue George V in Paris, and are modeled after vintage ladies’ handbags.balenciaga is going back to their roots with these amazing vintage treasures. Right now, the only bags that are available are Le Dix Zip Cartable, Le Dix Cartable M, and Le Dix Cartable S. All three bag styles can be personalized with an engraved message of your choice on the signature key-ring mirror. This option is only available for Le Dix bag styles. Each bag also comes with an adjustable and removable shoulder strap.
