Canonet QL-17 G-III Working, but with issues See sample photos at the end Last CLA date unknown; recommend getting one Purchased used from Indonesia, previous history unknown - Biggest issue is that the loading system is rusted and will scratch your film as you rewind (see interior and blue lines on samples). I've sanded off some of the rust and it should be less severe now, but it's still there. - Light meter works, but changing ISO has no effect on metering (seems stuck at ISO ~100). - Locks on under-/overexposure while in auto mode as expected - Lens has fungus, but still surprisingly sharp (see samples, or message me for uncompressed images). - Rangefinder (and possibly focusing element) needs adjustment, RF patch not aligned with focusing distance. - Viewfinder and RF patch are otherwise clear and readable. - Aperture is smooth, no snagging - Shutter clicks, haven't checked timing but it's well within acceptable exposure - Hot shoe and PC sync port status unknown. - Battery check light not working. Cosmetic/minor issues: - Pitting on the bottom of the focus ring and tip of the focus tab. - Dents on the left side, near the flash sync port. - It's oily for whatever reason, bit dirty in general. Feel free to message for questions or more samples.
