2010s Comme De Garcons Homme Plus Wool Wide Shorts The wide-leg short by Rei Kawakubo has been a recurring silhouette of CDG Homme Plus and has appeared across its runways for years. Where most shorts hug the thigh, these open outward featuring exaggerated leg opening, dropped rise & deliberate length. Good staple piece for Japanese avant-garde enthusiasts. Faded wash tags but I can tell the fabric is wool, thus holds the wide line without collapsing. Raw-hemmed, most likely unhemmed by the previous owner. Either way the unfinished edge suits the CDG’s deconstructed design language. Should be from early to mid 2010s based on similar listings.
