Custom iPod Classic 5th Generation (Made To Order)

MADE TO ORDER CUSTOMIZED Apple iPod Classic 5th Generation 30GB You may also provide your own iPod with a working motherboard for me to customize. The motherboard is not a 5.5G model, nor is it a 60 GB or more model. Bought an iPod to mod it for fun, though currently have no funds to mod it. Currently needing a new battery, screen, and planning to add flash storage (not iFlash to keep the costs down, but you can provide your own if you have it). If you prefer original HDD storage to keep the premium weighted feel of an iPod, I can adjust for that. Not planning to sell it by itself, again, my purpose is to mod it for experience and fun. If anyone is interested in buying a customized iPod, you could chat me. I’ll estimate the costs of labour and parts after you tell me what you’re looking for. It’ll range around 4k for as little customization as possible (new screen, battery, and storage only) or otherwise more than 5k (128GB or more storage, new front and back plate with custom colours, larger battery capacity, taptic engine mod for vibrating feedback, and etc.) I will ask the buyer if they want me to include optional freebies like Rockbox and accessories like cases, charger cables, 30-pin lineout cables, and etc. in case they don’t want/need any of them. For transparency with the buyer, most parts will be sourced online, manufactured in China but the quality is good regardless of origin (original iPods were made in China, and those fancy YT vids of iPod restorations use the exact same suppliers I’ll be using). Though if I do receive defective parts, I will return them and reorder parts that the buyer deserves, this may delay the ETA a bit. Will be sourcing from here for availability and for wider ranges of options for colour customization and etc. Reason for doing this: As a hobby and a way to earn money to fix other electronics at home, and potentially buy a moonlit.market modkit for my personal white iPod. I am also already experienced in modding. I’ve modded the white iPod in the 3D printed case in the last picture before with flash storage, taptic feedback, and a bigger battery. There will be a DOWNPAYMENT OF HALF THE ESTIMATED PRICE and I will order parts as soon as I receive the downpayment. You may provide your own parts if you can, and I will adjust the total estimated part and labour pricing. Any questions can be redirected to the Carousell chat feature, and after downpayment I can provide an alternate form of messaging for convenience and in order for me to update the buyer on the modding process.
