Elgin Sunburst Silver Dial, Hefty Gold Squared Case with Curved Top and Bottom, Date, Automatic, 31.5x31.5mm Size 31.5 x 31.5mm (without crown and without lugs) Dial : Spotless silver dial with a light sunburst pattern with black tick markers on outer ring on smooth silver background. Raised gold rectangular markers and raised Elgin name at top with the Elgin "E" below it. Date aperture window at 3 o'clock. Squared off golden hour and minute hands and a golden sweep second hand.case Case is hefty and thick, gold plated, still showing most of the original brushed finishing on top of bezel, with slight bowed out curvature at top and bottom of case. Screw down stainless steel case lid that is signed Elgin. Inside case back marked Bouille Switzerland and model number 4197 Movement : Elgin 17 jewel Cal 333 automatic wind movement that sets smoothly, keeps great time and comes with a 6-month mechanical warranty. Date is set by running the hour hand back and forth between 9pm and 3am. Strap: after Market Age 1960s Crown Unsigned golden crown
