About the product: • Model: William (The iconic double monk strap shoe originally designed by John Lobb in 1945) • Color / Leather: Black Grain Leather (often referred to as Misty Calf or Pebble Grain depending on the specific era, featuring a textured finish on the quarters and a smoother cap toe) Condition Assessment: • Uppers & Leather Quality: The black textured grain leather looks healthy and has maintained its shape remarkably well, assisted by the use of shoe trees • There are no heavy deep creases across the vamp • Flaws/Scratches: There is a visible horizontal surface scratch on the lower lateral side of one shoe near the welt line (as highlighted in the third photo) • Hardware: The silver-toned buckles are intact, properly attached, and show no major tarnishing or deep scuffing • The gold foil “John Lobb Paris” branding on the heel pad is largely intact and legible • There is some standard dark spotting/discoloration on the footbed from wear and moisture, which is purely cosmetic • Outsoles & Heels: The original leather outsoles have been fitted with a Topy rubber protective half-sole, which protects the stitching and provides excellent grip • The heels show very minimal edge wear and have plenty of life left before needing a cobbler •Marked Size: 7E • No box but comes with shoe trees • The color of the product may differ from the actual color depending on the type, condition of the display, surrounding light and other factors • Kindly check all uploaded photos before purchashing the product
