Louis Vuitton sunglasses. Authentic luxury items typically follow strict quality, material, and packaging standards. There are several inconsistencies present that differ from genuine production: Key Red Flags Packaging Material & Font: Genuine Louis Vuitton orange gift boxes use specific, crisp typography and a heavy, textured paper stock. The orange box shown here appears to be made of thin, glossy card stock with uneven typography. Dust Bag Quality: Authentic dust pouches are made of heavy, cream-colored cotton or microfiber canvas with pristine, perfectly aligned branding. The fabric pouch shown is thin, synthetic-looking, and has lower-quality, slightly distorted text stamping. Plastic Hard Case: The inner lining of the hard clam-shell case features uneven text printing, whereas the authentic cases have deeply clean heat-stamping or precise print work. Authenticity Card: Authentic Louis Vuitton eyewear does not ship with a plastic or paper "authenticity card" featuring a generic logo. The presence of a plastic certificate card is one of the most common signs of a mass-produced replica package. Frame & Inscriptions: The printed text on the interior arm temple (where the model number, sizing, and "Made in Italy" should be perfectly etched) appears loosely printed on the surface and prone to wearing off.
