A rare unit, tested and working perfectly fine but been in storage for a while. Requires 100v. Features: - Year of manufacture: 1975-1977. - Sony's first erect type deck series and this makes it easy for head cleaning and head degaussing easy. - Dolby-B noise reduction. - F & F (ferrite & ferrite) heads. - Single capstan. - Transport belt drive. - DC servomotor with frequency generator as a tape drive mechanism part. Since the rotation of this motor is smooth and the speed is controlled by the servo, it is not affected by the power supply frequency, and therefore is not required to switch cycles between 50 Hz and 60 Hz. Even when the power supply voltage changes, it maintains a constant rotation. - Timer standby switch is provided for timer recording/playback with an optional timer. While the timer is in standby, the pinch roller separates from the capstan so that no burden is imposed on the mechanism. - A 3-stage switchable tape selector with independent bias and equalizer. - In order to prevent distortion of sound due to unexpected excessive input, switchable peak limiter circuit developed by Sony is provided. - Tape counter with 3 digit display. - A level meter with backlight. - Auto shut-off mechanism. - See-through light behind the cassette allows you to check the remaining amount of tape.
