Vintage Takaoka Copperware engraved panel of 3 Koi fish or Japanese carp and 2 flycatcher birds perched on a stone in wooden frame, crafted using the advanced metal engraving techniques of Takaoka copperware, a traditional Japanese craft. The copper plate has a deep, verdigris-like texture, and the carp swimming above it are depicted in a three-dimensional and dynamic manner using gold and silver coloring. some scratches on the engraving and tear on matting due to age but still very beautiful approx 18.5" x 14" for 3k for both + shipping
