Thanks for looking. :) The Vortex CORE is a compact, 40% layout mechanical keyboard featuring 47 keys, a CNC-machined aluminum case, and PBT DSA profile keycaps. Released around 2017, it is known for being highly portable (under 10 inches), fully programmable, and featuring a split space bar. It typically uses Cherry MX switches. Layout & Size: 40% layout, 47 keys, ultra-compact, and heavy-duty, weighing as much as larger keyboards. Programmability: Features multiple programmable layers (Layers 1-3) with LEDs indicating the active layer (Red, Green, Blue). Build Quality: Constructed with a CNC aluminum frame and PBT keycaps with dye-sublimated, multi-color legends. Switch Type: Commonly available with Cherry MX switches. Limitations: Lacks dedicated number rows, arrow keys, and function keys, requiring users to rely on layers, which can have a steep learning curve. Connector: Uses a micro-USB cable.
